Zimbabwean nationals are being forced to migrate to nearby countries like Zambia and Botswana because of the political violence and economic hardship that has now become a part of life there. At Crossing Borders, we aim to help these refugees who stay within Africa as well as those who have the opportunity to migrate to the UK. However, it is difficult for African refugees to enter the UK because of strict immigration laws that authorities say need to remain in place to keep out the terrorists from Pakistan and the Middle East.
